What's new in Casen's world?

Life lately: Seasoned maple camp fires, ecstatic dance, and ancient grain pizza.

This has been a great winter in the PNW. A lot sunnier than usual, but still a good mix of rain, and now snow. I'm endlessly grateful to live closer to nature, to breathe in fresh air and commune with a variety of critters I find in my back yard strolls.

Most mornings start with coffee and fresh sourdough bread. I'm pretty habitual with my routines, and I tend to operate like the sun and the moon. My job requires that I attend lots of meetings and give lots of direction to teams of people who are largely on the east coast. Between meetings, or sometimes during meetings, I stroll around my yard and find frogs, salamanders, mushrooms and even owls from time to time.
